The Baltimore Ravens have reportedly traded safety Chuck Clark to the New York Jets.
NFL Insider Ian Rapoport reported Baltimore received a 2024 seventh-round draft pick for Clark.
Clark, 27, was drafted by the Ravens in the sixth round of the 2017 NFL Draft. Clark earned a starting role on the defense during the 2019 season.
The trade would create $3.64 million in cap space. The move can’t be made official until the new league year begins on March 15.
Clark was named Baltimore’s Walter Payton Man of the Year in 2022. He earned the nomination for his community service efforts off the field as well as their play on the field.
Through six seasons, Clark has 384 combined tackles, five interceptions 3.5 sacks and one touchdown in 96 games played. He also has five forced fumbles and one touchdown on four fumble recoveries.
