According to reports, a woman has had both of her feet amputated after her boyfriend pushed her on to the train tracks at an MTA Subway station in New York City. The suspect fled the scene and is currently being sought by authorities. The victim was transported to New York City Health and Hospital Bellevue, where she was in stable condition. From there, it was noted that the 29-year-old woman had to have her feet amputated as a result of the tragic incident at the Fulton Street station.
The horrific incident has left commuters shaken and has prompted officials to temporarily suspend service on the three train line. Passengers are being advised to seek alternate routes and to expect delays as the investigation into the incident continues.
