A juvenile died in a quintuple shooting at the Edmondson Village Shopping Center in southwest Baltimore, city police said.
Baltimore Police Commissioner Michael Harrison said five juveniles were shot outside the Popeyes restaurant, and it’s believed two individuals shot multiple rounds toward the victims.
A nearby officer and school police responded and began to render life-saving efforts. Two victims were taken to Shock Trauma and two were taken to Sinai Hospital.
Harrison said it’s believed the victims are Edmondson-Westside High School students who were on their lunch break. The school is across the street from the scene.
One witness told 11 News they heard multiple gunshots and saw one of the victims being given CPR.
No further information was immediately released.
